Game-Based Integrations: MOBILE_GAME, DESKTOP, WEB_GAME
These integration types are embedded directly into games, enabling players to join tournaments seamlessly.
Key Features:
- Players can start a game within a tournament by using the "Find Match" or "Press Ready" buttons.
- External links open via the escs-external- protocol, ensuring compatibility with in-app browsers.
Restrictions:
- Betting-related integrations are not permitted.
- Public tournaments displayed are not limited to those created by the game owner—all public tournaments are shown.
This integration type is ideal for games aiming to provide players with direct access to tournaments from within the gaming experience.
Service-Based Integrations: MOBILE, WEB_PLAYER, WIDGET
These integrations do not support gameplay directly but enable users to register for tournaments and access other services.
Key Features:
- Players can open the game via the "Open Game" button, but options like "Find Match" are unavailable.
- Betting information, such as the wager flow and eWagers, can be displayed if certain conditions are met:
- A Deeplink URL must be set in the game settings to guide users back to the game after completing a transaction.
- The game must allow paid tournaments via the "Can Be Integrated Into Paid Tournament" setting.
Additional Permissions:
- These integrations allow for the display of only those tournaments created by the integration owner, including public and race tournaments, if the "Show only my public tournaments" option is enabled.
This type of integration is suitable for platforms or services that complement gameplay, such as community hubs or external apps.
WIDGET Integration
The widget is an iframe-based embed code that can be added to any web resource, providing tournament-related functionality directly on external websites.
Requirements:
- A specific host must be set for the widget to function. Content will only display if the host matches the predefined settings.
The widget is perfect for extending tournament functionalities to external websites while maintaining control over the host environment.
