Game scores play a crucial role in defining the rules and mechanics of tournaments on the ESCS platform. Once created, these scores can be further managed to suit your tournament's needs. Here's how you can manage your game scores effectively:

Creating Game Scores

  1. Log in to the organizer’s platform.

  2. Navigate to the Game Scores section.

  3. Click on Create New Score.

  4. Define the rules and parameters for the score.

  5. Save your changes to finalize the score creation.

Archiving Game Scores
  • If a game score is no longer needed but you want to keep it for reference or historical purposes, you can move it to the archive:

    1. Locate the score in the Game Scores section.

    2. Select the score and click Archive.

    3. The score will be moved to the archived section and will no longer appear in active score lists.

Marking Scores as Non-Public
  • To prevent a game score from being available for selection in new tournament series while retaining it for existing ones:

    1. Open the score settings.

    2. Check the Non-Public box.

    3. Save your changes.

Key Notes
  • Archived Scores: These scores will not appear in active tournament settings but can be restored if needed.

  • Non-Public Scores: These scores remain functional for past tournament series but are hidden from selection in future tournaments.

By using these management options, you can maintain a clean and organized library of game scores tailored to your tournament requirements.
