Why Use 2FA?
2FA is a simple yet powerful security measure. It typically requires two types of credentials to verify your identity:
Something you know (Your password)
Something you have (A code from an app, SMS, or, in this case, email)
By demanding both, 2FA acts as a strong barrier against phishing, credential stuffing, and brute-force attacks.
Step-by-Step Guide: Enabling 2FA on ESCS
To enable Two-Factor Authentication for your ESCS account and enhance its security, follow these simple steps:
1. Access Your Account SettingsNavigate to the ESCS account portal: https://account.escs.io
Log in using your existing username and password.
Once logged in, look for the line dedicated to Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Click on the checkbox next to the Two-Factor Authentication option to enable it.
After selecting the checkbox, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Save" button.

What Happens Next?
Once 2FA is successfully enabled:
Secure Logins: Every time you attempt to log into your account, an extra security step will be required.
Email Verification: A unique verification code will be sent to your registered email address.
Verification Input: You must retrieve this code from your email inbox and enter it into the login screen to gain access to your account.
This process ensures that only you, with access to both your password and your email, can log in.
Managing Your 2FA
You retain full control over this security feature.
Disabling 2FA: You can turn off Two-Factor Authentication at any time by simply returning to the same security settings page on https://account.escs.io and unchecking the box next to the 2FA option, then clicking "Save."
